Two Simultaneous Augmented ChordsIn bar 10, we start the second mysterious trick using augmented chords. We begin this bar with the violins and violas playing a B Augmented chord in two different octaves, one above the other:
But in beat 3 of that bar, the 1st violins and half of the 2nd violins move up to a D Augmented chord, while the other half of the 2nd violins and all of the violas move down to an Ab Augmented chord.
