You can see that every bar of the left hand stave consists of a bass note on beat 1 followed by chords:

While this may seem obvious, it is important to always be aware of this. When we arrange this piece for other instruments, we will give the bass note to a bass instrument and the harmony to another instrument (or instru­ments).

The right hand piano melody requires less thought. We can simply give the entire melody to one instrument, or have several instruments perform segments of the melody.
