Composing with the Pentatonic Scale

In our Natural Minor scale chapter, we discovered that you can create a minor scale by using the exact same notes as a major scale. In our Lydian scale chapter, we learned that you can create a new scale by adjusting one note in the major scale.

In this lesson, we will create a new scale by removing two notes from the Major scale:
