Orchestration

The orchestration serves an equally important role in creating magic. We use the flute for its spritely nimbleness, while the tinkling celesta adds an element of pixie dust to the mix. Delicate harp arpeggios always blend beautifully with flute and celesta parts, while the high violins' trill creates an atmosphere of anticipation. To emphasize that important relationship between the notes D and D# (enharmonic Eb), the violins trill between those very two notes.

Two more instruments worth mentioning are the bell tree and the French horn. Here, the French horns use metal mutes. Because of this, their opening note starts the piece off with an almost electrical buzz. The metallic bell tree enhances this effect.

With these combinations of notes and instruments, it would be hard to not sound magical.
