Another Example

As you might have guessed, the Lydian scale's quirky nature makes it the perfect scale for light, comical music. Let's listen to how this scale can be used in a traditional, orchestral setting:

As in our two previous examples, we are using the C Lydian scale. While this is an orchestral excerpt, it is actually a simpler composition than our two previous examples. So let's take another look and see what's going on.
